FAQs on Diploma in Fashion Design

  • Does the institute offer Hostel facilities or help in arranging accommodation for outstation students?
  • Yes we have arrangements that we can help you with for a safe and comfortable stay in and around our campus.
  • Is this course part time or full time?
  • The 18month Fashion Diploma Course is full time from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm Mondays to Friday and half day on Saturdays. Watch for further announcements of short term modules for Certificate Programs.
  • What about assessments and grades?
  • There will be internal assessments marked on assignments, practicals, class tests, and external assessment at the end of each semester through term examination.
  • Do you offer any outside classroom experience?
  • Field Visits to centres of textile and garment production, places of cultural inspiration in arts and crafts. At Cindrebay, we provide you a one to one interaction, to be recorded as assignments by students in journal or document form. This becomes your reference point in future.

  • Apart from all the above mentioned, what else will be the student-experience at Cindrebay ?
  • It will be mandatory for the students, after the completion of 12 months of the course, to undergo a one month “INTERNSHIP” programme initiated by us with some of the known Textile or Garment Brands/Fashion Houses/Malls/Boutiques. At the end of the course, every Fashion Design student dreams of his/her ‘AHA” moment. At Cindrebay we fulfil your dreams. For “The Student’s Fashion Design Collection” you will have to create your individual signature style of garments, choreographed and showcased by leading models on the ramp at a gala FASHION SHOW. There will be awards and citations for the winning collections, amidst a cheering crowd of celebrity audience and proud parents of the students.
  • How much can a Fashion Designer earn after having completed the course?
  • As a Trainee Designer in any firm, you may earn anything between Rs.10000 to Rs.20000, but please be realistic and consider this as work experience. After that the sky is the limit depending on your hard work, drive, and ambition. As for those who freelance or start their own business, the income will be much more to begin with.
