Arrival in Dubai → Orientation walk → Evening visit to Dubai Mall & Fountain → Burj Khalifa (Flight arrivals, hotel check-in, and metro familiarization)

Visit the Museum of the Future, Alserkal Avenue, and Al Fahidi Heritage District → Optional creek stroll

Full day at Dubai Design Week (d3) → Explore installations and attend pre-booked workshops

Travel & Local Transport

  • You’ll receive a preloaded Dubai Metro card for unlimited travel during the week.
  • Most locations — d3, Dubai Mall, Marina, and Global Village — are metro-connected, ensuring convenient and affordable travel.
  • Group metro orientation will be conducted on arrival.

Metro Tips:

  • 7-Day All-Zone Pass ≈ AED 110 (best value).
  • Nearest stations:
    • Dubai Design District: Business Bay (short taxi/bus ride)
    • Dubai Mall: Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Station (via Metro Link Bridge)
    • Marina/JBR: DMCC or Sobha Realty Station.

Accommodation

Participants will stay in safe, comfortable hotels or hostels near the Metro (such as Dubai Youth Hostel, Citymax Bur Dubai, or Ibis Al Rigga) based on group size and availability. All stays include daily breakfast and are selected for convenience, cleanliness, and accessibility. The above name of hotels and accommodation are only indicative and can not be guaranteed.

Safety & Support

A faculty coordinator and professional travel facilitator will accompany the group throughout the trip, ensuring safety, guidance, and smooth coordination from arrival to departure.

Flights & Visa

  • Direct flights from Kozhikode, Kochi or Bangalore to Dubai (DXB) via Air India or Air India Express are recommended for convenience. (The departure airport and destination will be finalised according to the priority of registrations, as decided solely by the organiser)
  • Group visa applications will be processed through a UAE-based authorised partner.
  • Ensure your passport has at least 6 months validity from the travel date.

Practical Tips

  • Carry light, breathable clothes and comfortable walking shoes.
  • Respect local customs and dress modestly when visiting cultural sites.
  • Average daily meal cost: AED 60–80 (Lunch and Dinner and Snacks)
  • Stay hydrated and carry a refillable bottle; water is safe but often bottled.

The trip is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students of design, architecture, art, and allied disciplines. A limited number of seats are also available for design enthusiasts and professionals interested in global design trends.

Yes. A valid passport with at least six months’ validity from the date of travel is required. First-time travellers will receive full assistance with visa documentation and travel formalities.

The package covers hotel accommodation, daily breakfast, all entry tickets as per the itinerary, UAE visa processing, a Dubai Metro card (preloaded), Desert Safari experience, and the services of an academic tour facilitator.

Airfare, lunches, dinners (except during the Desert Safari), travel or medical insurance, and personal expenses such as shopping or optional tours are not included. Please check as airfare is included in other places

The group is limited to 20–30 participants to ensure a focused and well-guided experience.

Visa approvals are at the discretion of UAE immigration authorities. However, we work with an authorised travel partner to ensure that applications are complete and correctly processed.

Participants will stay in 3- or 4-star hotels in twin or triple sharing rooms, chosen for comfort, safety, and proximity to key locations.

An academic tour facilitator will accompany the group throughout the trip.

Most local travel will be by Dubai Metro, supported by private transportation when required for specific sites or time-bound activities.

This is primarily a curated academic trip. Non-design participants may join only if seats remain available after the student registration deadline.

Yes. All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation acknowledging attendance and learning engagement during the trip.

Terms and Conditions

  • Participation is open to students and individuals aged 18 and above.
  • Registration is confirmed only after the submission of the completed registration form and payment of the initial booking amount.
  • The organisers reserve the right to accept or decline any application without assigning a reason.

  • A non-refundable advance payment (as specified in the registration form) must be made to secure your seat.
  • The balance amount is to be paid in full before the date notified by the organisers.
  • Failure to complete payment by the due date may result in cancellation of participation without refund.

  • Cancellations will receive no refund.
  • In the event of insufficient enrolments, unforeseen political, climatic, or administrative reasons, the organisers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the trip. In such cases, participants will be refunded the amount paid, excluding visa or processing fees.

  • Visa processing will be facilitated by the organisers through an authorised travel partner.
  • Final visa approval rests solely with UAE immigration authorities; the organisers shall not be liable for any visa refusals or delays.
  • Participants are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all personal and passport details provided.

  • Accommodation will be provided on a twin or triple-sharing basis in reputable 3- or 4-star hotels. Daily breakfast is included. Lunches, dinners (except one BBQ dinner during Desert Safari), and personal expenses are not included.

  • Participants are strongly advised to obtain travel and medical insurance before departure.
  • The organisers shall not be responsible for illness, injury, or loss of property during the trip.

  • Participants are expected to maintain discipline, follow the itinerary, and respect local laws and customs.
  • Any behaviour deemed inappropriate or disruptive may lead to exclusion from activities without refund.
  • The organisers are not liable for any loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity caused by third-party service providers, natural calamities, or other circumstances beyond their control.

  • By joining the trip, participants grant permission for photographs and videos taken during the tour to be used for academic, promotional, or publicity purposes by Cindrebay School of Design.

  • The organisers reserve the right to revise the itinerary, accommodation, or activities due to unforeseen circumstances. Any such change will be communicated in advance whenever possible.

  • All inclusions and services provided under the Design Safari: Dubai 2025 package will be strictly limited to those that have been specifically paid for by the participant.
  • There are no subsidies, discounts, or complimentary inclusions from Cindrebay or any of its partners. Every component of the trip is chargeable and clearly accounted for.
  • A detailed cost breakdown outlining how participant fees are allocated (covering accommodation, logistics, and facilitation charges) will be shared prior to payment to ensure 100% transparency.
  • Any expense, facility, or service not explicitly mentioned in the confirmed package details will be at the sole cost of the participant.
  • Participants are advised to budget separately for personal expenses, optional tours, meals beyond those specified, and any additional services requested during the trip.

  • Participation in Design Safari: Dubai 2025 implies acceptance of all the above terms and conditions.
