Career Opportunities

Career Opportunities Associate Diploma in Architecture

Tremendous opportunities first sprung up for Furniture Designers in the early 2000s, with the Retail boom that saw heavy investment in modular furniture systems into the designs of branded environments. This was accompanied by growing investment amongst corporations into upscalling their work environments, by setting up ergonomically designed, pleasant workstations and modular storage systems along with other interior design fittings. The Scope for Furniture Design as a career path was only further cemented with the onset of the e-commerce marketplace. India’s leading business houses and ‘Start-Ups’ brought designed furniture and stories to the homes and screens of the regular consumer. Now, buying designed furniture is not considered a luxury, but a necessity for lifestyle by the middle class as well. What was a trend in the metro cities is now infiltrating tier two cities and towns too. There is a lot of excitement amongst investors and buyers alike, when it comes to picking thoughtfully made furniture, with a story around it.
